Now that it’s officially December, it’s time to get things moving for the 2018 Wolfstar Big Bang! Head on over to Dreamwidth from now through January 5th to sign up as an artist or writer.

You can check out our detailed FAQ and timeline on Dreamwidth or Tumblr, but here are the basics:

Writers are committing to a story minimum of 30k words.

Artists are committing to a minimum of 3 pieces of artwork.

All work must be original and unpublished.

All participants must be over the legal age of consent in their country of residence.

Sign ups end on January 5th, submissions are due June 30th. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of chatting and check-ins during the creative period!

When did you first start reading Harry Potter: I was 11, it was 1998. I was the same age as Harry for the first three books. Also, my first two books don't say "Year 1" or "Year 2" on the spine, so I read them thinking Harry could die at any moment. Those first two were terrifying. I mean they all are, but the age I was and the lack of knowing that there were 5 more to come, I was SO sure that Harry was actually going to die when the Basilisk bit him.

What was it in the books that made you see a Remus/Sirius romance: I started reading fanfic (primarily minnow-53's stuff) right after the fifth book. I don't remember what it was...the hug? The joint Christmas present? Animagi? I had read HP fanfic (I was H/Hr to the bitter end - the end being when Harry smells his Amortentia potion and smelled "something flowery that he thought he might have smelled at the Burrow" UGH BARF [I'm trying to like Ginny more])

I love talking about my HP history (I haven't seen the movies, for reasons I won't go on about because no one asked me..yet? lol, I'm proud of my art, and unapologetic about it. :D NO ONE should be of their work.

I wrote a songfic (before I knew they were lame, lol) to "We Might As Well Be Strangers" by Keane, about the falling out/losing trust. The lyrics fit well and that's so sad. Please give it a listen (the link is a lyric video).

After the third book, I wrote an H/Hr fic, (sing-song voice) but no one'll ever find it! I wanna brag about my fanfiction.net username back then - it's the kind where you know it's from when ff.net started, cuz, like, you can't get...say the username "Jennifer" anymore, you know? The fic is cringeworthy. Now my ff.net is, like I said, myprettycabinet. I have a decent PG-13 R/S fic I wrote...
