True, though sometimes I vividly remember the time when a lot of people suddenly also seemed to ship Snape/Lupin (I'm pretty sure that's when I lost a lot of my faith in humanity).
Hey, it took me years to appreciate Ron! Not that he isn't an asshole sometimes, he very much is, but altogether I still see more positive than negative things in him, or at least his character as a whole somehow works for me. (And okay, and maybe it's also that there are other Weasleys I have much more issues with. ;P)
