Ode to WOLFSTAR BIG BANG SIGN UPS!!!

 Now that it’s officially December, it’s time to get things moving for the 2018 Wolfstar Big Bang! Head on over to Dreamwidth from now through January 5th to sign up as an artist or writer.

 

You can check out our detailed FAQ and timeline on Dreamwidth or Tumblr, but here are the basics:

 

 Writers are committing to a story minimum of 30k words.

Artists are committing to a minimum of 3 pieces of artwork.

       All work must be original and unpublished.

All participants must be over the legal age of consent in their country of residence.

Sign ups end on January 5th, submissions are due June 30th. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of chatting and check-ins during the creative period!

When did you first start reading Harry Potter: I was seven and wanted to read it so I could hate it for a real reason and not just the fact that everyone else liked it so much. Oh, how that backfired...
What was it in the books that made you see a Remus/Sirius romance: At first I didn't; but I just really loved these characters and started to think that they had been through so much that only the other could truly understand them. And once I had thought of it, I saw it EVERYWHERE in the books and now I know what my ten-year old self didn't know yet: that wolfstar is basically canon

I also read the books when I was older rather than a kid, and tbh I think I get more out of them now as an adult. And oh man, the POA movie just seals the deal, doesn't it???

When did you first start reading Harry Potter: Around 1999, when the first three books were out in the US. I remember waking up really, really early to pick up Goblet of Fire from my local bookstore.
What was it in the books that made you see a Remus/Sirius romance: I'm sorry, is there evidence against their romance? ;P In all seriousness, it's the way they interact in the Shrieking Shack, the 40-line stare, and the joint Christmas present. All of that lead me straight to the thriving Wolfstar fanfiction community.

What was it in the books that made you see a Remus/Sirius romance: IIRC it wasn't the books so much as fandom that allowed me to ~see the light. Sirius was my favorite, and when he died in OOTP I was desperate for Bring Back Black fic/Marauder's Era fic, and one thing led to another and I ended up reading a lot of R/S. So much so that when I went back to read the books I couldn't not see it.

What was it in the books that made you see a Remus/Sirius romance: i didnt, i started getting into the fandoms artworks and fanfics for harry and jinny (if im remembering correctly) and i stumbled across wolfstar. it wasnt until i went back and read the books again that i noticed. Now i love them and i cant stop.

But I came back to the series older, wiser, and gayer, and it was so blatantly obvious. Remus/Sirius is everywhere.
