Jo! Like JKR! I'm "J"amie...? lol.

I'm not clued in on this "dual house" thing. How do you reckon/figure out what other house you're in? This is legit sounding like Astrology.

I was 11 too! So, you were 11 in...2003! Had you seen the first two movies?

No, I know! They're SO weirdly meant to go together, so the extent that I feel like a lot of it is just a natural fit, not JKR purposefully doing it!

HI!!

Well it's short for Jodie-Lea, but I really hate it because it's so formal and no one calls me it, and I go by Jo everywhere. But I like the link to JKR ;)

Oh, well I was sorted in Slytherin on Pottermore, and then got locked out and re-sorted as Hufflepuff so I was like WAHHHHT. So someone sent me a comprehensive one that asks like 50+ questions and it came out like 48% Slytherin 46% Hufflepuff, but I really think I identify with both equally. But if the hat asked, I'd be a Snek because it was my first house.

I didn't see PS (SS) until I was about 13 I think, but I had read the books. I don't think I watched the movies until POA came out - i was late to the film game.

I agree, they just compliment one another, and I love the idea that theyre the moon and stars together. It is my favourite connection for them.

[I feel I rambled, I'm so sorry]

Ahaha, I was one of the first beta members of Pottermore, and they had that test you took, made by real psychologists or something. The problem with any other Buzzfeed-type quiz is that it's so easy to click the answers you want. Like:

Would you say that you're:
a.smart
b.kind
c.brave
d.cunning

lol, but the Pottermore test was awesome. I had gone into it with the intention of trying to not let my answers be swayed in order to get Gryffindor. But the questions are so weird, you know? It's brilliant. I got Gryffindor! Then, I wanted to take it again trying not to get into Gryffindor, and still got Gryffindor based off my other answers, but I got Gryffindor again. And I AM a Gryffindor. I always do things that a young woman shouldn't do - like pull up in the middle of the night on the shoulder of the freeway because someone's stopped there, in order to make sure they're okay. I'm also very reckless and can be very passionate about shit and short-tempered in regard to my passions. Though I may run into the black of night on the bike path I live next to if I hear a scream, when I'm the victim, I freeze. I go along with everything the man does out of fear of being attacked for fighting back. It's weird. Everyone asks why I didn't scream or run. Lol.

I don't believe in astrology, but I fit the traits of a Gryffindor in the same way I fit as an Aries. So, it's like your Slytherin is in the house of Hufflepuff (cuz I don't think Hufflepuffs could ever be/want to be Slytherins, but Slytherins are cunning, so it wouldn't be that big of a deal the other way around. (by the way, I was gonna link you to any comment of mine to prove to you what true rambling is, but I think I'm currently proving it already.

And whaddya know? The moon and stars are astrology! lol.

Do you know how hard it is to find people who read the first four before seeing the movie. Do you find that the actors replace the faces you'd always pictured for each character? That's why I stopped at the first movie (they're ALL awful, but HP and the gang have been my best friends longer than anyone in real life, and I could risk losing them to Rupert Grint(?), Daniel Radcliffe, and Alan Rickman fucked everything up with his age. Great actor, I hear he's a great Snape. COOL. Problem is, Snape is meant to be 31/32 in the first book, and Alan Rickman was 60 for the first movie, and since the Marauders and Lily were all the same age, it mae it so Gary OLD MAN and that ugly ass guy playing Lupin (WITH A MUSTACHE AND SCARS??? Nowhere are scars mentioned, and come on.), Rickman's age meant that James and Lily, as the same age, would've been 50 years old when they had Harry. UGHHHHHH. I get very angry about the movies, but I'd still have watched them if it were just a matter of hating it, but it's the faces being replaced in my head that kept me away.

(I'm only being an asshole because I just learned the difference between paying someone a compliment and two people who complete each other: complement. I'm sorry. But they do also compliment each other, lol. I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry - spellchecking is such a low blow, but I don't mean it like that! gah.)

R/S: I LOVE the cellestial side of the symbolism between them. Sirius, the star, is the brightest star in the night sky. The only other body in the night sky is what, you ask? Oh I dunno, only THE MOON. Have you heard my Moon Song? I wrote it as a story of their complementary stories:

Moon Song
"For you I am the stars at night to keep you company.
My twinkle and shine watching over you -
Always there to welcome the day with you."

"And for you I am the moon - I radiate in the night sky.
My pale light to balance you,
I control your stormy seas so you won't have to."

You may really like it - at least the lyrics, I spent a loooong time going through celestial vocabulary to pick out words that fit but also sounded romantic. It's a good song. lol. LISTEN TO IT OR GO THE WAY OF CEDRIC DIGGORY. Rowling! (that means j/k, heh)

Now, I apologize for this rambling essay. ;D I'm

I apologise for the spelling mistake!! I feel really bad. I usually have a spell check thing but I was replying on my phone and I’m a little dyslexic and mix letters up sometimes! I feel so bad!!

The test I did wasn’t a buzzfeed one, but I believe it’s been taken down now so I can’t link it. But it was amazing and broke down for each house and it explained a lot, but the questions were also really really in-depth and more situational based rather than brave cunning etc.

The faces didn’t really replace the ones in the book, I have the films as one thing and the books as another. Then FanFiction I have other faces because of ages and situation etc, like Muggle AU can’t look the same as Wizarding etc. I know what I mean!

I love that song!! That’s so beautiful!

BTW, my best friend is Lea, and it's pronounced like Leah, so she gets SO MANY people misspelling it or pronouncing it like "lee" or like Princess Leia (that's not that bad, right? lol). I hate when people don't spell or pronounce a person's name correctly, once being corrected on how to say it or spell it. ESPECIALLY when it's in respond to an email or letter where the person has written their name in the signature, or header. Or even their email name. It's SO SO SOOOO disrespectful, and showing the person that they don't care enough to remember something VITAL to that person: their fucking name. I tend to guess/ask the spelling of a person I meet - just yesterday, I did a CPR class, and my partner was named "Mimi" so, I replied, "is that the usual 'm-i-m-i"? and it wasn't! It's Miemie. So, do you say Jodie-Leah? Or Jodie-Lee?

I used to get Jaime a lot. PISSED me off. Now everyone is Jamie, I don't know where they were before...lol. But I had a friend Carolyn and a friend Fayha. Teachers would constantly say "Caro-line" instead of "Carol-in", and Fayha would get Faya a lot, but the H is not silent in her name "fay-ha". And Whenever that teacher said it wrong, I would just call out the correct pronunciation. I'm sure everyone looooved that.

OMG, I did it again Now you have even MORE to read from me.
